TRADING STRATEGY AND MARKET CALLS(10-JAN-08)

Markets are seeing range bound trading. At higher levels, buyers are a bit cautious to come and the sellers are trying to book profits at highs. The market as a whole is very strong and is not breaking down either, even when the global markets are very weak.

The FIIs might just start buying any moment and the domestic institution will resume buying very soon as well. The DIIs after the run in the large cap will focus their attention on midcaps and small caps. The midcaps and the small caps are yet to run and that may happen any moment. Thus a stock specific action has started and picking the right stocks will be very important.

RNRL and RPL each lost about Rs.15/- yesterday. RNRL just about touched 250 in the futures and retracted from there.

RCOM continued its run up and we gave an intraday trading for RCOM as well..

The broader market seems like will be range bound and we might see profit booking at higher levels and buying at lower levels.

US market closed mixed. The DOW closed higher by 27.31 points at 12,827.49 and S&P 500 index closed up by 4.55 points at 1416.18 while Nasdaq fell by 5.99 points at 2,499.46.
Also the FII were seems to be buying slowlys as on monday trade FIIwere net buyers and DII as well ..



The Indian market today is likely to have a positive opening due to mixed cues from the global markets

GLOBAL markets are week , US markets are week and is plunges on the fair of reccession data.

US indices tanked on Friday, on weaker-than-expected December jobs report exceeding recession fears. The Dow ended lower at 12800 down 257 points, while the tech-laden Nasdaq declined to close 98 points lower at 2505.
Analays says the bears have stick the US markets and the markets could even fall to 12500 mark , also Global markets are also following the US markets and are following the trend to trade in week

After witnessing a jump of over 300 points on Friday, the market is likely to remain shaky as global markets fell further on US economic concerns.
