Market REport 27 may 08

A head to head fight between bulls and bears and in the end bears somehow were sucessful in taking the momentum to their side ... with a steep fall in the end ... though nifty closed abv support of 4840 but the fall was mainly led by banking sector on rate intrst newzz..

crude falling to 128 lvls that is just a measure of retracement as its preparing for another rally ... for 145 mark this time .. from then it may cool off ro 110-120 lvls to settle at the EOY..

Ecpect a choppy trade today also ... as ASian markets trading at marginally freen with clues from US .. We are expected to take a zig zah curve in nifty with mood either way.... Mid cap wuld be in action once again with stock specific momentum...

FNO expriry ahead we suggest to trade minimum and in small quant and better stay away frm FNO..segment..

India's second largest listed telecom services provider by sales Reliance Communication (RCom) rose 1.57% at Rs 551.75 on reports the proposed deal between Reliance Communications and South Africa's MTN Group may involve an open offer by the South African telecom firm to the shareholders of Reliance Communications. The deal may result in a transfer of Anil Ambani's two-third equity stake in Reliance Communications to MTN shareholders, the reports added....

Nifty May 2008 futures were at 4851.90, at a discount of 7.90 points as compared to spot closing of 4859.80..

FII inflows are yet to turn positive though domestic funds are providing some support. 'Stay cautious and sell into any rally' should be the ideal strategy...but stock specific buys can be done...

A weak trading day and what we saw was across the board sellin , today sensex with mild cues and ahead of FNO expiry is expected to trade flat to positive with cautious trade..

nifty jumped back from 4870 lvls yesterday thrice tus making a intermediate support for the nifty and upside 4940 wuld be resis .. anything abv that wuld see 4970and 5020 on nifty .. with the bears getting strong if nifty brks 4870 for 4800 and below that 4730 mark...

But that does'nt looks like coming ,, we may ahead of FNO closing can see short cvring in scripts and bulls might try to come back at 4940 lvls.. once 4940 is crossd we may see 5000 lvls in nifty...

Small cap and mid cap saw a severe beating yesterday .. there culd be some rcvry in these segment and some sought of value buying can be done ..

Analyst are expecting some bearish move from nifty and each and every rally shuld be used as selling and unwinding longs .. as of noww...

With the Sensex last week mostlyy past with red color , we were wishing for a break soon to come and after 2 days vacation , monday is here again and all knows with friday in red the sensex will follow its tashon of being in red today .,.. With the global markets down , asian markets are also bleeding , so how come sensex get escaped , Expect a 1 to 1.% dwnwrds in todays trade with nifty support lies at 4900 mark for all ur longs ,, below 4900 there wuld be bull stop at 4800 mark that wullbe be last phase for bulls to survive,...
We give a cautious trade today .. or just wait and watch policy ... some bottom fishing can be done from the long term point of view ..otherwise it wuld be broad based selling all the way ..
