Market REport 27 may 08
A head to head fight between bulls and bears and in the end bears somehow were sucessful in taking the momentum to their side ... with a steep fall in the end ... though nifty closed abv support of 4840 but the fall was mainly led by banking sector on rate intrst newzz..
crude falling to 128 lvls that is just a measure of retracement as its preparing for another rally ... for 145 mark this time .. from then it may cool off ro 110-120 lvls to settle at the EOY..
Ecpect a choppy trade today also ... as ASian markets trading at marginally freen with clues from US .. We are expected to take a zig zah curve in nifty with mood either way.... Mid cap wuld be in action once again with stock specific momentum...
FNO expriry ahead we suggest to trade minimum and in small quant and better stay away frm FNO..segment..

A weak trading day and what we saw was across the board sellin , today sensex with mild cues and ahead of FNO expiry is expected to trade flat to positive with cautious trade..
nifty jumped back from 4870 lvls yesterday thrice tus making a intermediate support for the nifty and upside 4940 wuld be resis .. anything abv that wuld see 4970and 5020 on nifty .. with the bears getting strong if nifty brks 4870 for 4800 and below that 4730 mark...
But that does'nt looks like coming ,, we may ahead of FNO closing can see short cvring in scripts and bulls might try to come back at 4940 lvls.. once 4940 is crossd we may see 5000 lvls in nifty...

We told u much before crude is heading towards 135$ mark and here we are u can see the crude boiling towards 134 mark and the effect also be seen when DOw tumbled almost 200+ points and fears of high inflation and crude prices.. the rise was mainly due to the newzz that crude current production might not be able to meet the requirements..
Indian markets recvrd the loses very smartly yesterday with mid cap was in good action , but how wuld be today , with global weakness it culd turn out to be bad day for the bulls although we are in narrow range of trading 4900-5200 ... but frm these lvls it is offcourse we may see some dwnwards towards 5050-5000 lvls.. 4930 wuld remain the mind lvls and 4900 the all long lvls to hold...
some of the low lvls oil ref comp saw a spike yesterday trade on acccnt of crude .. like HOEC , RPL , tamil naidu petro ... stake sale newzz of cairn is totaly on baseless rumurs and u wuld be hesring taht soon .. market was hot with open offer newz of cairn shareholders but it is as of noww baseless rumurs..
IFCI made a come back but again rumurs playing here .. bidding by RIL @ 96 pers share ... rumurs might take it to 68 lvls... and doo book profit bcozz there is no such news as of noww..

With the monday leave and a long weekend , sensex is expected to trade in a soft manner , with flattish kind of clues from the asian peers where DOw also loosing all its morning gains . DOw which was inturn trading with the gains of 130+ in the morning loses all gains on accnt of some bad newz by leading comp san disk ..Asin peers are trading weak on accnt of crude boiling abv 126$ to 127 range ..crude is expected to touch 135 abv 125$ as per the analysts .. more and more fund houses are investing in crude to reap the short term gains...

With the sensex outperforming the rest in the gains..the nity climbed up to 5100 lvls.. The gains were mainly due due to shrt cvring upto 5070 lvls but later afternoon there was afresh buying seen in lots of capital good sector wioth realty also doing good and sugar sector on newzz of govrmnt raising the prices ..
The Dow had agood gains yesterday close with alsmot 100 points on accnt of somne positive newzz , Cnet being looked for buyout and crude fallin..These factors were enough to give DOw some roar..The asian markets are trading in green and expect sensex to do well today also , with straight 2 days of gains we will be in good gains today., though inflation figures will be released but mrkts have ifnored the last 2 weeks inflation figures but this week we think it might put some positive effect to inflation with good nos..

Market Report 15 MAY 08
Market saw a good rcvry on the accnt of support from good opng from europe..the momntum stock gained .. ahead of shrt cvring and some FII buying . FII were net buyers from last 2 days. The yesterday marekt which was trading in weak zone in the monrg bell gained strength in the later half to 17,000 mark.The sensex will today try to brk that resis lls of 17250 ..Nifty too expected to face resistance at 200 dma @ 5075 mark..
Dow closed yesterday with half of the gains that it have gained in intraday ..Dow was trading with three digit gains to close at adequate marginal gains while nasdaq was almost flattish . Asian markets are in support of bulls to be trading at green range . Today anything like rally does'nt seems to be visible but anything like short cvring in stock specific can definate gv some spikes to the stock value..
Our buy call for lanco @ 440 marked 520 marked yesterday .. lanco is in newzz to win the 8000 cr contract to handle container .. in kerala port.. the stock wuld be in action today also and is expected to mark certian lvls..
Mercator Lines has reported strong results for Q4 and full year. The company has posted almost a 3-fold jump in net profit for FY08 at Rs3.7bn, supported by growing fleet, buoyant shipping demand and firm freight rates in dry carriers segment..

Market REport 13 May 08
Sensex closing on friday was at very crucial lvls and the monday when it was on the stage of rcvring from its intrday loses and on the border of getting green the newzz of Bad IIP nos struck the market and we saw a free fall in nifty.. though this was later being used as bottom fishing by mzny of the DII , we have gvn the signal in the monrg itself that we will seethe buying cming in the markets at 4900 lvls and u can see that buying started at exactly 4910 lvls to make nifty gain almost 100 points from its lowss..
Nifty call of our yesterday buy nifty was almost up 100 points ..
The Earthquake newzz also did some sizzler effect and the sensex reacted to that also but vey little time..
Crude lost its gains from the highs and the EDS merger newz with HP make the DOIw jones to have a very good closing with 3 digit gains ..
Anlayst are predicting the rise in inflation and incrz in intrst rate are the culprit for the low IIP nos .and the GDP might slow down in curse o f that in the cming yrs..
But they dont see much effect and inflation and IIP nos both are expected to do well in the down time of say 6-7 months ..
Oil stocks saw a huge build up yesterday with our invstmnt call CAIRN @ 240 and 270 crossed 300 lvls to close at 304 lvls.. CAirn has a still huge build up in open intrs .. the trgts in dlvry as given by moneygurus are 335-370 in this script..
Fertilizer saw some action in the last hrs of trade when there was some short cvring that made some of the scripts to shot up.. include RPL that gained almost 10 rs from its lows.

Today we will open from positive to flat.. as the IIP nos have some how hurted the sentiments..
but we dont see any major rally and pullback.. short are still pending and there is certail lvls in mind to cvr that shorts which is still not triggrd...

Market report 08-May08
Sensex closed marginally lower lvls.. though outperforming its asian peer hangsang.. The major reason behind the weakness is bad gloabal cueues and the offcourse the reason is crude. Almost all the countries and specially developing countries are in worry of rising crude prices.. if Golman sachs are to be believed the price is still low and we can see crude settling at around 150$ mark..
though 125 plays a important resis lvls and 110 as support lvls for crude.. but as per anaylst if 125 id broken it will start trading in 125-135 region mark..
High crude prices will def effect the companies as well as govrmnt . GOvrmnt as of now might not pass the hike to consumers like us as of now ahead of elections but the oil companies are sure gonna suffer from these..
Alrdy companies like CAirn , RPL , HOEC are getting some attention from the Fund houses and if crude kep boiling like this the companies will definatley be buys at these lvls..
Markets expected to have a another weak trading day .. and though no major downfall is seen.. rumurs are there of some major correction but shorters who have shorted nned some cut which they are not getting so rumurs wuld always be there.. but we dont see any major sellof as of now..

Market Report 07-May08
Itwas a day of profit booking for all .. sensex lost more then 100 and nifty doing some weird movmnts triggering all the stop loses and major 200 DMA sl to close just abv the 5150 lvls...
Nifty from here if we see that has tried thrice to cross 5250 mark ., but each and every time came dwn to decesive lvls.. so there is shrt term dwnside that is surely gonna be there .. nxt time in caome back we mifgt see nifty crossing 5250 mark.. but again at5310-5330 lvls... there is a resisitance and we might not be able to cross that..
With the close below 200 DMA in nifty and the shorts being build up freshely we might see some dwnside .. though 5078-5095 is immediate shrt term support for the nifty and we might take bounce bk from mthese lvls.. nething that goes below that nifty could touch 4975 lvls..
We are tradin in the very specific range of 5000-5250 in nifty and this is best thing for shrtt erm traders to buy momentum stoocks in lows and sell at highs..
Stocks like jp assoc, unitech, lanco , praj ., dlf , icici bank , rpl are the few that can be traded for thses...
but stay away fro the sectors which havent performed much or looks laggard behing like pharma..

Markety Report 06-May-08
It was a dull trading day yesterday and expect the same today also.. though there is no major dwnside but intrday some cuts are expected.. as DOw closed in red due to the MS getting its bid out from the yahoo and crude boiling at 120 mark... crude is in trange of 113 to 123 as of noww..
Some correction is due ...as we dont expect to fall to 80 mark.. but yesthe crude will definatley boiling too high.. OPEC says they can take it to 200$ mark but ,, thats long away as of noww it will trade in 100-200 range at the lower side..

Yesterday UCO bank and PFC witnessed a huge fund buying and u can see the script has gained how much..
Nifty is facing resis at 5250-5300 mark.. as we said earlier... due toweak global cueus ,, weak openg in expected in nifty ,, nifty will take support at 5100-5160 lvls...

Market Report 5-may 08
Sensex last week was full of momentum and was in full mood to chear for the bulls , although the losts of analyst and high end investors term it as the bear market technical rally ..
So all highs shuld be usesd as to gain profits . 5500-5600 mark for nifty wuld be considered as important barrier for the nifty to make the bulls come back and rule the market .. if it shows relative resistance at those lvls.. we cannot see where we gonna move forward.. but as of noww one thing is sure.. that deep cuts and long correction are not there and we dont se any huge correction in markets as of now..
Nifty at 5000 will take a immediate support and major support at 4800 mark ..We traded abv 200 DMA of nifty last week ad closed well abv that lvls very comfort zone ...
Coming week as there is no fresh triggers and moreover we have been trading in the positive range from last 2 weeks some consolidation can be seens as it wuld also be good for sensex..
Midacap is still lacking behind and we need some good rallies in midcap to gain the retail investor confidence .SOme buying was witnessed in midcap but it was all in selective sscripts and we suggest to stock to qualty midcaps as there wuld be stock specific action to continue only..

Market report 2 May 08
Wednesdays trade was a merely wait and watch trade .. and investors and traders were cautios abt the Fed meet ahead,, so it was all in a limited bandwagon ..
Yesterday, Federal Reserve cut interest rates in US by another quarter percentage point bringing it down to 2%. This was the seventh rate cut by the Fed since last September, 2007..
The DOw jones on ahead of this lately realized and seems to be in party mood for trading ahead of the 13K mark . DOw gained almost 190 points .. in the yesterday trade and Nasdaq with 60 + points ..
on the economy front in Us ..., advance first quarter GDP rose by 0.6%, topping the consensus estimate of 0.5%. Separately, the ADP Employment Report, a measure of nonfarm private employment, showed an increase of 10,000 jobs in April, easily beating the consensus estimate that called for a decline of 60,000...
Crude and Gold bith fell and were trading to its month lowss ahead of this ...
Japnese mrkts are also trading strong and Indian markets are likely to follow its asian peers..
5250 in nifty plays a important barrier and bulls will try to cross these lvls..
We expect a huge shrt cvring if nifty crosses 5250 mark decesively .. but again as big analyst and big fund houses .. are saying .. thanks to leading TV channels that they predict markts are hands of bear and its a technical pullback in bear mrkts ..

Market Report 30-April 08
It was a wait and watch day for the markets yesterday untill The RBI Govrnr came up with monetry olicy .. the Govrnr shocked the markets with positive and it was all out of the expeectation .. even the major economist who were estimating the GDP growth of 7-7.5 %.. the RBIdeclared the growth forcast of 8-8.5%...Even the repo and RRepo rates were kept unchangd which wasa a majot booster for the mrkts . He hwevr incrsd the CRR by quarter % ..to suck the excess liquiduty..
But if we follow tha major bankers that wont effect much in their PE values and rates hikes as of now is tottly ruled out..
Reality and other sectorspecific saw a immediate rection and stocks like DLF n Unitech were in action .
Our clints have reaped the benefits of both stocks ..
AS we have reccom DLF @ 600 and 660 and unitech @ 265 lvls.
Banks were in action and moneygurus specific call of Axis bank gained almost 40 rs from its buying lvls..
The nifty crossed the 200 DMA and was traidng with very strong volumes on the charts . THE fund houses were bullish on the nifty as of now. We have gvn to stay long in nifty with SL of 4800 @ 4925 and here we are alsmot300 points plus in nifty for nifty traders..
The markets wuld face stiff resis at 5250 and 5300 lvls now in nifty and significant selling can come at those lvls specially in the large caps and frontliners..

But if we follow tha major bankers that wont effect much in their PE values and rates hikes as of now is tottly ruled out..
Reality and other sectorspecific saw a immediate rection and stocks like DLF n Unitech were in action .
Our clints have reaped the benefits of both stocks ..
AS we have reccom DLF @ 600 and 660 and unitech @ 265 lvls.
Banks were in action and moneygurus specific call of Axis bank gained almost 40 rs from its buying lvls..
The nifty crossed the 200 DMA and was traidng with very strong volumes on the charts . THE fund houses were bullish on the nifty as of now. We have gvn to stay long in nifty with SL of 4800 @ 4925 and here we are alsmot300 points plus in nifty for nifty traders..
The markets wuld face stiff resis at 5250 and 5300 lvls now in nifty and significant selling can come at those lvls specially in the large caps and frontliners..

Today, the Fed will announce its policy on interest rates and provide some clues on the outlook for the US economy..If FEd does'nt cut rate it wuld be considered as the economy is improvinng and if cut rated... still the investors wuld be happy so in both cases its .. win -win situation.
