Stocks to watch out today( 14-JAN -08)

The volatility we saw on Friday was worth something. We have been saying that the market will be volatile but is strong and will not break. We were correct and friday saw a bounce back from 6110 levels.

The market started in the green but went into the red. But later in the day we saw buying in selective counters and the bounce back in the sensex and nifty.

Today, the buying will continue. Good Q3 results gives good signals for the market. Midcaps and Smallcaps which have taken a hit in the last 5 sessions might see some buying and selective counters will bounce back.

In the news is the Ganga Express Highway, expected to be about Rs.30,000 cr. JP Associates has emerged as the lowest bidder for all the 4 phases and the confirmation will be coming today.

SBI is going to issue ESOPs to its employes and also discuss about the rights issue.

BSNL is planning to launch CDMA across India in competition with RCOM and TATA. Later we might BSNL launching its IPO divesting 20%. This will be the mother of all IPOs.

Geojit Fin has given very good results. Expect some movement in the same counter.

Year 2008 is going to be a year of IPOs and India is going to see a jump of 300% in the IPO front.

Summing up everything, Lots of positive news coming across sectors. The stocks to watch out for today are RIL, RCOM, JP Associates, Adlabs, Punj Lloyd, Abirlanuvo.
